How To Optimize Your Instagram Profile Bio For Your Business

You’ve made your account, you’ve chosen a username, and now you have to create your Instagram profile bio for your business. Use Keywords in Your Instagram Name

The ability to search by keywords is a big win for businesses. This lets followers find accounts that relate to keywords by their captions, bio, or username. Keep in mind, user names are limited to 30 characters, and can only be changed every 14 days.

Keep It Brief

And by that, we mean your profile. People like to skim, so break your profile into bite-sized chunks. Not long paragraphs, or run-on sentences, please. Use emojis to keep the word count down, and act as natural section headers. Make sure to use keywords, but keep it readable, keywords stuffing is not a good look. It doesn’t need to be immaculate, but it always feels more professional if an environment is pulled together. Infuse your feed with your brand colours, keep fonts consistent, and play around with photos, graphics, and carousels. 

Add a Link to Your Website or Landing Page

Instagram is a great way to take warm leads to your website or landing page for them to learn more about what you do, and how you can help them. Make it easy for them to find you by linking your page in your bio. Ideally, your site address and username share similar keywords.
